Time for a short seaside holiday to break up our exhausting holiday. Where else to go on a mini break except Blackpool. I’ve heard lots about it.
First things, check out and drive down that narrow country lane one last time. Then head south towards Leeds, way. We had arranged a catch up and lunch with Malcolm and Sandra. They took us to a lovely restaurant here I had a really great Caesar salad. Next we went to Saltaire which was built as a model village in the mind 1800’s by the local bloke, Sir Titus Salt, to house all his workers in his textile mill in good and nice digs. We went for a coffee in one bit of it, lovely big open rooms in the old mill.
Next, time to get to our seaside holiday resort, Blackpool. Ah, Blackpool you are an interesting city. We finally went out for Indian for dinner. The Albatross has been hankering for Indian ever since we arrived.
